Alameda Ballet Academy has offered classical dance instruction in downtown Alameda since 2003, founded by Artistic Director Abra Rudisill. Rudisill spent 20 years as a Prima Ballerina and Ballet Mistress with Oakland Ballet before starting the school and its affiliate performing company, Alameda Civic Ballet. Classes focus on artistry, musicality, and technique alongside the performance side of dance.
